Westbound
Someone take pictures and mark down the date– I’ve packed my car (mostly) the night before a trip! I might actually pull off this proposed “leaving early” idea. I fear that tomorrow’s drive (back to MS) will have to be a more cautious one, as it will probably be a free-for-all across the […]

DISCLAIMER
I’m kinda distracted by a few big things right now, so any recent or future posts may be devoid of actual humor, relevant content, or the requisite Transformers: The Movie references.
Sorry.

My Share = ZERO
Halle Berry SNL rerun this weekend means that I get lots more search engine hits for that funny funny Klymaxx skit they did. I am always kind of entertained at the fact that none of you who find my page remembered the actual name of the song. it’s “I’m Not […]

New Adventures In Lo-Fi
The radio treated me right this weekend as I cruised across three states (twice) in three days. On the way out of town, Nitrate 88 rocked me clear into Alabama, with the signal fading out somewhere between “Clubbed To Death” and a piece of Mansell’s Requiem For A Dream score (at […]

I wasn’t able to leave today/decided it wasn’t quite time to leave yet.
How’s everyone out there doing?
NP :: Just finished up an Ian Moore show from 12/02. Excellent stuff. Wish you could all hear it. Ah, but you can!

Drip
The Deluge that hit us last night brought with it a small leak in the roof. I managed to coordinate the necessary repairs from work today with the aid of my friendly neighborhood State Farm agent and the ever-helpful next-door neighbors.
So that worked out alright.
Mamaw’s not doing well, though, and I’m not there. […]

Lessons Learned From Honey:
A) We’ve all got flava, but not all flava is hott.
B) Thugs that insinuate that they’re planning to kill you if you don’t comply with their requests are probably just kidding around. Disregard any threats of physical violence they may present to you. Gangstas are silly that way.
C) Jessica Alba […]

Sad Realization
I am pretty sure that if it had been me who had come along and seen that they were closing up at Jake’s (it being a couple of minutes past 10), the cute alterna-chick ice cream server sitting outside having a smoke would not have offered to serve me up some dairy goodness without […]

1:19 AM
Nope. Not sleepy.
I hope everyone out there is catching “Arrested Development” on FOX Sunday nights. Hilarious stuff with Jason Bateman, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor, and a great supporting cast. If you enjoy laughing at stupid rich people or dysfunctional families in general, give this show a shot. I don’t think […]

The Grayscale?

This is a sporadic blog by Gray Whitten. Used to call it The Grayscale when it lived elsewhere, but now I'm going with the domain name and just saying YARG! (dot org). Feel free to sign up via RSS or LJ, or just, you know, visit on a regular basis. Thanks!
